It's been 13 days since Fox vanished without a trace from her garden on Tuesday, 13th May.

We are at a crucial point now and are desperate to get her home. We are worried about her safety and miss her very much.

We have conducted a thorough search around the area. all bushes, trees, hiding spaces, roadsides, and fields within a 500 meter radius have been checked and rechecked. Our house and the two other houses nearby have been checked routinely.

A wider radius search, including the woodland and farms as far as tillynaught, has been walked day and night.

We have hung her bed, toys, and a bag of 'the house' up on the washing line and tree.

We leave her food out at night and cooked sardines, too. We leave the window open for her return.

We've followed up leads in Portsoy town, Cullen and Cornhill. We've flyered everywhere we can think to. Nothing has come up. No confirmed sighting.

There is a small chance she could've jumped in the couriers van. We have been to the addresses the courier went after us, but this does include the wider area of Cornhill. She really could be anywhere by now or making her way home.

We know its not unlike cats to wander and anything can happen to them, and often, they just return, but this is completely out of character for our little Fox. She's always close by or under our feet. She comes to bed every night, loves her cuddles, and plays time. Our other two cats (14yrs & 5yrs) get along with her very well, and there are no other cats we see out here. She has been harness trained and is very good with the road. Only ever leaving the garden via the backwall and field.

Our new trackers show the routes our other 2 cats do. I've included photos to show the area and how far they go.

We are holding out hope for her safe return, but any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Put a used litter tray outside on the doorstep. They can smell it for miles.
