Hi Reddit folks! As you’re well aware, my beautiful country is ruled by a mad dictator, whose actions I can neither justify or support, so I made the decision to flee and reunite with my Ukrainian relatives in Vienna. I’m a professional drummer who’s had a relatively successful career back home, but now I’m in an entirely new environment with no connections whatsoever. If anyone is a musician/knows the industry and has the time to meet me for a coffee, talk me through the local music scene – I would be extremely grateful. The people working there are young so you won’t have any problems communicating in english. There’s also a blackboard for musicians looking for bands (and vice versa).
You’re a drummer… you’ll be fine. It was always the hardest to find a good drummer.
