The UK has approximately 632 Warrior IFVs: 80 awaiting near-term disposal and the rest expected to be scrapped by 2030. There is a petition to send them to Ukraine, it can be signed only by Brits, and if it reaches 10,000 signatures, it will be put to vote

small mistake in the title:
At 10,000 signatures, government will respond to this petition
At 100,000 signatures, this petition will be considered for debate in Parliament
(still, it it responds, it can be picked up by some MP or official)
5,155 signatures currently.
Sign away but don’t hold your breath, not one of these petitions has ever been effective.
As to Warrior; honestly, we’re missing something. The UK has already donated huge amounts of equipment to the detriment of our armed forces, including literally every single heavy gun we had pre war. The fact that not a single Warrior has been donated suggest very heavily to me that either they’re not being disposed of after all, the fleet numbers are bogus or Ukraine doesn’t want them for some reason
Signed.
TBH Ukraine’s tankers and Bradley crews know Western FCS from their Challenger 2 and Bradley courses, so they’d pick up the basics quick, but the Warrior’s 30 mm Rarden can’t fire on the move so you’d have to stop to even try shooting FPV drones.
Then you’ve gotta train hundreds more on UK fire-control quirks and haul BAE spares through bombed-out lines under fire, it could be a logistics nightmare but obviously nothing Ukraine hasn’t been able to deal with with all the varying vehicles they have deployed from different nations…
Nice idea to sign a petition, but without a solid supply and maintenance plan, shipping off the whole fleet could backfire.
I don’t see any reason Ukraine couldn’t use these.
I’ve had a few trips in them. Nothing amazing…. it does the job. Quite old. From the 80s or early 90s. Better than the M113 I think.
I was told back then that the only one completely wrecked was by a blue on blue with an A-10, which of course… would.
I was no mechanic though. Maybe they know something I don’t
Signed, it’s at about 5.5k at this moment

Just a small correction to the title. Not only Brits can sign the petition. It can be signed by anyone who legally resides in the UK. Signed anyway.
Pretty much guarantee that they arent in a usable condition.
Done. Slava Ukraine

Only issue would be tech transfer agreements. Looks like they were made in-house.
An we get a link for the lazy please.

You can also write to your MP and maybe suggest they pick it up in parliament if it doesn’t get the required amount – [https://www.writetothem.com/](https://www.writetothem.com/)
