Hi!

I recently fell in love with Katarsis – a band which represented Lithuania at Eurovision 2025. Their music hits my heart and my favorite song became Nebeturiu jėgų. Unfortunately, I can't find lyrics for this song in Lithuanian. I sing sometimes and I want to know a meaning behind this beautiful song. I only found a short English translation in comments on YT. Could someone please try to write lyrics of this song? I have one friend living in LT, but unfortunately, she's not (as she said) 'fully Lithuanian' and she doesn't know this language that good to help me.

Also, I would like to explore other Lithuanian bands and artists in same or similar vibe as Katarsis – something kinda dark, moody, post-punk. Could you give me some recommendations?

Thank you so much in advance, much love from Poland ♥

  1. Transcription is word for word, but translation is literal. Maybe someone could offer a more accurate translation meaning wise, but you should get the gist of it.

    Lithuanian:

    >tarp gėlių tos pievos užminuotos

    >reik bandyt prašokt

    >mano dienos rūku klotos

    >bent jau taip jaučiuos

    >norėtųs pasiduot

    >nes aš nebeturiu jėgų

    >nes aš neturiu jėgų

    >nes aš neturiu jėgų

    >nes aš neturiu jėgų

    >nes aš neturiu jėgų

    >nebebandau pabėgt

    >aš stebiu dangus kaip sukas

    >nebebandau pabėgt

    >aš stebiu dangus kaip sukas

    >nebebandau pabėgt

    >aš stebiu dangus kaip sukas

    English:

    >in between the flowers those fields are mined*

    >ought to try to skip over (them)

    >my days are covered in a fog

    >at least i feel like that

    >i’d like to give up

    >because i no longer have strength

    >cause i don’t have strength

    >cause i don’t have strength

    >cause i don’t have strength

    >cause i don’t have strength

    >I no longer try to escape

    >I watch how the sky spins

    >I no longer try to escape

    >I watch how the sky spins

**mined* as in explosive mines are planted in between the flowers

  2. Unrelated, but I love it so much that people from outside of Lithuania are really loving Katarsis. They’re a fantastic band and I’m so glad they’re building an international community of fans.

  3. For other bands, try Solo Ansamblis, Gruodis – ex Katarsis band member.
