Street lights off in the whole street and surrounding ones, Camden. Is this normal, I’m new to the area. Midnight Belsize Park

  5. Yeah this is completely normal.. Camden is famous for having a light curfew, you should stay indoors until daybreak, the Camden “nightlife” is actually just urban myth and everyone goes home at sunset due to the electric shortage in North London.

    Chimney sweeps and knocker uppers can be sourced through locals during daylight hours in taverns, coal is delivered by horse and cart and the rag and bone man is on Wednesday, for updates turn on the wireless.

  10. I love when street lights cut out. It brings back a feeling of reality. It’s relaxing instead of th ae horrible LEDs.
