Stop it, Barrat homes might see this and put a planning app in
I’ve hear Milton Keynes is especially beautiful this time of year.
Is that Luton?
Unfortunately, after visiting such lovely places in the countryside, most of us have to come back to the suburbs…
Peak district?
Idk personally i find all that green boring i like big trees or like a cool building rather then open nothing.
Yerp, that’s a mighty fine field you got there.
Agree! Love having the South Downs nearby but also love exploring other parts of the country and being equally in awe.
So long as that’s not actually _France_
We really don’t appreciate it enough!
ah good old garston
Where is that in wales, Ireland, Scotland or somewhere else?
For anyone from outside dear old blighty this Crewe. It’s lovely and if your coming to visit, I highly recommend it. Thankfully it’s just down the road from Stoke aswell so you could do both in a few days. Your welcome.
Yes, we like the look of it. Pretty colours. Lovely associations. Thanks OP for snapping these.
But, in a more serious sense is it actually good? It’s mostly open, mostly one crop or grasslands. It sure isn’t what the land looked like before humans came along. It is as much a man made/determined landscape as any urban centre.
It’s an awful lot of land just in these pictures. And there is an awful lot more like it. And it’s not worth a lot ecologically as habitat for animals or in terms of plant growth. Nor is it that productive for agriculture. And it’s sure a lot of land that could be used for other things.
It seems really to mostly be pretty. Which is nice. But a forest would be prettier still.

It really is.
It’s not showy, it just is.
