I have the impression that out of the mainstream available beers in Belgium (i.e. the ones you find in supermarkets), this is probably the most popular one. I don’t think I’ve met anyone who likes blond beers but dislikes Tripel Karmeliet.
The most important question is, do *you* think it’s a good beer?

Just try Carolus whisky infused. Almost as good as westvletteren but easier to get.
Triple Karmeliet… I used to drink this a lot after finishing working at FOD Financen (Liege’s Dubai Tower), waiting for the train at the bar in Liege and drinking 3 in a row before taking my ride and go back home. It kicks very good!
