Hey everyone,
I recently came across a Finnish company called KOVA – Kotivara, which sells ready-made emergency preparedness kits (food, tools, radios, power banks etc.). They seem to focus on the “72-hour home preparedness” concept promoted in Finland.
Their website is: https://kovakotivara.fi (saddly only in Finnish and swedish).
I’m curious if anyone here has ordered from them or used their products – especially their 72h food box or emergency gear kits. How’s the quality? Worth the price?
Would love to hear thoughts or recommendations from anyone with experience (or even general opinions about these kinds of bundled emergency kits).
Thanks

You can look up every item on their pictures on normal grocery chains like k-ruoka.fi and compare prices

The products are off-the-shelf, standard Finnish brands and K stores own brand, so the quality is good, but shell life might not be long so you’d have to rotate it anyway so you might as well build your own, I didn’t calculate price wise, but I would expect a premium.
I did a quick test based on my default emergency base of porridge (breakfast), pasta, beans in tomato (lunch), pea soup (dinner), canned fruit like ananas (dessert), and dry bread and I can can get easily enough for a family of 4 under 30.
