Türkiye has launched its ‘meetinginturkiye’ digital platform, offering event planners a comprehensive guide to the country’s MICE facilities.
The initiative, unveiled at this year’s IMEX show, is spearheaded by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency. It aims to streamline congress bidding processes, increase delegate engagement and deliver comprehensive support packages for international congresses.
The platform has up-to-date information about the country’s hosting opportunities, including its green meeting facilities, alongside an integrated congress support system providing resources to help event professionals plan, promote and organise their events in Türkiye.
Other features include a simplified approach to international congress bidding and congress support packages, including financial and logistical incentives, promotional assistance and customized city experiences to enhance the appeal of İstanbul as a premier MICE destination.
Users can also access an online application form designed to simplify and enhance the process for those wishing to choose Türkiye as their host destination for international conferences and events.
