I mean, it is true. They support Assad and Putin, deny their war crimes, but holy shit they have an obsession with Israel.

Irish Public has consistently voted for centre right and maybe *a tiny bit more left of centre right than usual but still centre rightish* for 100 years.
We have a hard left, I’m not denying that. Nor am I denying that some hard leftists are influenced by the elders of zion russian propoganda…but the voting Irish public aren’t. We vote safe and moderate, we are safe and moderate. We’re a touch boring. Maybe we’re antisemitic like the Jpost keeps suggesting, but we don’t vote that way 🤷♂️

Holy crap. I just realized. The reason the self-identified lefties didn’t applaud Zelensky is because he’s Jewish and they’re anti-semites. If we assume that, it’s consistent behavior.
They’l rightly call out the lack of an international response to Israel’s actions but hypocritically they’re supported the Russians in Syria and don’t support sanctions against them now. I just don’t understand why they aren’t consistent one way or another
