  1. Da’s toch niet serieus, kom? Die had toch gewoon een house party ergens en is mis gereden?

  2. Come on ! We have more traditional/belgian things to show the world than football…

We have plenty of traditional belgian outfits to choose from. Ok maybe not Gilles de Binche if you want to win a beauty contest….

  3. Well, maybe it’s not about the football team, but about the Duvel beer.

  4. His grandparents must’ve also called him nen duvelke when he was little

  5. What pisses me off the most is that it’s not even a GOOD devil costume. Most of these men had Cirque du soleil level outfits and this guy looks like he raided Las Fiestas carnavalwinkel.

  6. We need a muscled belgian lion. Not whatever the fuck this is.

  7. I was going to ask about blackface, thought he was going as St Nick.

  8. When our cultural doesn’t know our tradition clothing anymore. It saddens me.

. The Flemish farmer often wore a shiny blue smock on Sundays. The woman wore her regional cap on Sundays.

Worn with a black cotton trousers. And the red scarves had guild symbols. F.e. white dots for miners.

The upperclass wore a 5 piece costume, fully black with red and blue details f.e. undervest or trousers or scarve.

  9. ngl, before I saw that sports team explanation, my mind immediately went “oh, is it because of the imperialist history?” 💀
