€29 from Pippa O Connor, probably €5 in Pennies. This is shocking. Who buys this shit and gives this clown more money? Probably made in a sweat shop in China for 20c.

I don’t know who that is or why it would bother you so much but you’re literally advertising for her here 😂….just ignore it
Yes it is disgusting that these idiots profit off the exploitation of developing countries.
I know nothing about this brand or women’s tees in general, but if it’s a good quality heavyweight shirt, that price isn’t *that* ridiculous. I’ve paid almost that much for various heavyweight Carhartt T-shirts, and many of them have lasted me several years or more. A €5 Penneys shirt would probably be a tattered rag within a year, if the other shirts I’ve bought from various cheap shops over the years are any indication.
All marketing
Its Saturday night. I’m drinking alone, playing video games and even I’m like “this guy needs to get out more”
Bought a t-shirt from her range a couple years ago, it’s still fine, held its shape and stayed black. You’re not comparing like with like
I’ve paid 30 quid for a decent comfortable t shirt before
Sustainability in clothing should be a bigger concern for consumers since the clothing industry is such a big polluter: it is second only to the oil industry.
Cheap clothes have a very big cost, from environmental to exploitive labour practices.
I have bought some items from here and they are fantastic https://kokorozenwear.com/
It is an Irish business and the items are made here, hence the higher price tag. The fabric is sustainable. Clothes used to be much more expensive and we owned much less. We have become too used to cheap clothing.
Also, buying second hand and taking better care of your clothes also helps.
Buying higher quality clothes means they will last longer, too.
Yeah, given her company provides no info on origin or ethics, it is safe to assume the worst. These items are likely not ethically made. People are just paying for the brand name, as even 100 per cent cotton would not justify this price.
12 quid in M and S.

It’s even advertised as looking like you’ve taken it from your boyfriend…
Made in Turkey for next to nothing but you’re right OP
