Park Shin-Hye Climbs South Korea’s Tallest Mountain Leaving Fans In Awe Of Her Physical, Mental Strength

Park Shin-Hye not just plays strong roles in her projects, she is an equally strong woman in real life. No wonder it reflects in her physical strength too, and one instance was recently seen when she turned a mountaineer becoming an inspiration to many.

The Korean actress, who’s also a mother of a 3-year-old son, scaled the summit of South Korea’s tallest mountain, the Hallasan. On May 26, the 35-year-old revealed her adventurous journey in an Instagram post.

Sharing clicks from the Baengnokdam peak on Jeju Island with her agency Salt Entertainment colleagues, Park wrote, “A beginner who barely managed Achasan… Bravely climbed Hallasan. My legs are trembling now that I’m back down.”

“Whew, Salt Mountaineering Club! Thank you to my Salt family who smiled and came along, even when I made the unreasonable request to go climb Hallasan right after Achasan. Big thanks to our CEO who provided hiking boots for all staff and actors. You’re the best,” She added. Park also shared a photo from the middle of her hike with a witty caption, “Why am I doing this to myself?”

Park, who’s married to fellow actor Choi Tae-Joon is currently in the midst of her seventh Asia fan tour that kicked off from Taipei in May. Her onstage moments along with sizzling dance performances have been going viral, especially her recent gig on Blackpink member Jennie’s single Like Jennie. Her next stop is Tokyo on June 29.

Meanwhile, Park’s last K-drama The Judge From Hell which emerged as one of 2024’s hit K-dramas, recently announced a second season. Studio S officially confirmed The Judge From Hell Season 2 via a recorded message sent by company COO Jo In-Hong while receiving a bronze at the New York Festivals Storytellers Gala 2025 for the show, which debuted in 2024. The news has left Park’s fanbase excited and waiting for more updates.
