I’m surprised there isnt a bigger department the police can refer such cases to when it comes to cyber crimes such as this
Oh that poor little darling. If only this were a catalyst for a better future, alas I think not.
🙁
People seem to be vehemently and close-mindedly 100% against things like adjusting language to accommodate people going through difficult times (basically see most trigger warning debates), professional inclusivity or cultural awareness training. This is the kind of foreseeable result.
Not surprised with Merseyside police tbh. I once reported something to them (nothing as serious as here) and they spent 99% of the time trying to convince me to drop it. So the part;
>Rachel, alongside Semina’s aunt Clare Halliwell, said the lead detective “sat there and started talking about all the forms he’d have to fill in if she made the complaint and how long it would take him to fill those forms in”.
is absolutely believable!
Really bad.
Horrifying.
>”They said anyone going to the police are going to go get their heads kicked in. And that’s exactly what happened. Semina was beaten up three times, videoed, her [sibling] was beaten up in school,”
And the police is doing absolutely fuck all. What the actual fuck? Are the perps some high-up asshole’s spawn or something?
That article describes a situation that just gets worse and worse – JFC
Christ. Every police officer involved in this case should be prosecuted.
She should have reported that someone has written something offensive on twitter. Then the Police would be knocking on their door in no time.
