What is this total fuckery and have I any way to get out of it?
It says “as per your contract” so I assume they have a CPI-linked increase built in. If not, you can cancel for change pf terms.
You’re paying €126 per month for vodafone? Is that for multiple mobiles, and Tv and fibre or something?
Im gonna guess its built into your contract. Call them and say that if they dont offer you discounts that you will go to a competitor as soon as your contract is up.they always have discounts up their sleeve to keep people.
Just remember to keep your cool with the person on the phone they didn’t make the increase decision.
It’ll have been baked into the contract you signed it’s becoming industry standard at this point as it’s a government levy being passed off to the customer. Load of shite but no real way around those increases

Three is doing the same.
If a change is made to a contract you agreed upon, you have the right to exit that contract without penalty or charge.
Now they’re saying it’s already in your contract, just check what the contract actually says. It looks to me like there me be a clause in the contract to allow for an annual price adjustment, but they might be increasing beyond the agreed amount in the contract. If so, they can’t do that.
Happened to me back in 2016ish, was about 4 months into a 24 more contract, think it was like an iphone 6 or something. But they changed the contract, I contacted them and told them I don’t consent or agree to the change and would like to be released from the contracts, they asked no questions and just said no problem. Got a free phone out of it because the phone itself was free, was paying like 35 a month.

To anyone who’ll listen
Don’t bother buying a phone on Contract
Buy what you can afford.
