Retail sales in Slovenia rose by 0.3% year-on-year in April 2025, slowing from an upwardly revised 0.5% rise in the previous month.

Sales dropped for automotive fuel in specialized stores (-1.9% vs 0 in March) and non-food products (-0.2% vs 0.3%).

Meanwhile, sales rebounded for food, beverages & tobacco (0.6% vs -1.3%).

On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, retail activity fell by 0.2% in April, following a downwardly revised 1.3% fall in the preceding month.
