1. A man raped a 13-year-old girl two days after meeting her on Snapchat before raping her two days later. Police say Shane Philbrook, 19, befriended his victim on the popular social media app.

   After two days, he met up with the girl for the first time before raping and sexually assaulting her. Philbrook then sexually assaulted a second victim, aged 16, nine months later.

   His sick crimes came to light after the two victims bravely came forward to police.

   It’s obviously a well deserved sentence but it makes you wonder how many young people lack any self preservation skills.
