Meghan Markle has shared a heartwarming milestone about her son Prince Archie in a recent interview.
The Duchess of Sussex revealed that the six-year-old has finally lost his first tooth, a moment she had been eagerly anticipating. In an interview with Fast Company, Meghan recounted the “sweet mom moment” when Archie woke her up at 2am to share the exciting news, and she played the role of the tooth fairy, leaving money and a dinosaur toy under his pillow.
Despite having business meetings the next morning, Meghan chose to cherish the moment and cuddle with Archie for the rest of the night. She said, “Those mom moments energise me to be a better founder, a better employer, a better boss.”

This milestone was anticipated by Meghan, who had mentioned Archie’s loose tooth at a TIME100 summit in New York in April, expressing her hope to be present when it happened. In the same interview, Meghan also reflected on her professional identity, admitting that she wouldn’t know how to describe herself professionally anymore, having rejected the “influencer” label.
She noted, “If I had to write a résumé, I don’t know what I would call myself. I think it speaks to this chapter many of us find ourselves in, where none of us are one note.” However, she believes that all her pursuits are part of a cohesive whole, saying, “But I believe all the notes I am playing are part of the same song.”
Back in March, the Duchess shunned the “influencer” title during her interview with People magazine, reports the Express, saying, “I see myself as an entrepreneur and a female founder and if the brand ends up influential, then that’s great.”
Meghan, who shares children Archie and Lilibet with her husband, Prince Harry, also made candid confession about juggling motherhood and her business in the final episode of her podcast, Confessions Of A Female Founder. While expressing her admiration for podcast guest Sara Blakely, founder of shapewear clothing company Spanx, who is a mother of four, the Duchess said, “The amount of what you have created, evolved through the level of what you have done while having this many children, all at that age. It’s something that I think people often forget.”
Discussing her own experiences, Meghan added, “People forget that Lili is three, and Archie is five [now six]. So you look at the past five, six years of my life, it’s yes, with being pregnant or with a newborn or with a toddler, and then another one.”
Sara then said, “How are those cute little munchkies?” To which Meghan replied, “Oh my gosh, I’ll send you some pictures, they are so grown.” Meghan stepped back from being a senior working royal and started a new life in the US when Archie was 10 months old, and has recently been focusing on launching her own As Ever brand and lifestyle Netflix series.
