1. This should hopefully lead to more homes being built as well.

2. Just like with nuclear energy, way too late. They allowed the population to swell artificially through uncontrolled immigration without improving and increasing infrastructure.

4. are the water companies going to fill the reservoirs with the sewage they can’t be bothered to process ?

6. There’s a burst pipe that has been running litres of fresh water every hour through the corner of my neighbours cavity wall for bout 8 years? Get reported every year, every year they look at it and say too complicated to fix and do nothing. Instead told not to use hosepipe in summer on garden lol

7. It absolutely baffles me how little foresight our successive governments have had. This should have been done in the Blair years. Doesn’t bode well for issues like climate change does it when all our politicians do is is react to problems once they’ve already slapped us in the face.

9. Atlee created a system in 1947 that was designed to curb development. That wasn’t enough so we created urban containment with green belts.

   The last 80 years has been a statutory exercise in economic self-sabotage.
