‘No-kids’ holiday venue? Think again, says France

1. As a French guy, that is some bullshit.

   We’ll see high end adult only restaurants/hotels dedicate a small table to porn or something to justify the adults only label…

2. 3% of all services is pushing families away? This isnt discrimination against children, this is running away from bad parents, and I think good parents are fine with still having 97% options open.
   Going to adults only resort is very refreshing, to be honest. This is yet another case of “think of the children”

3. Just to demonstrate why this proposition is stupid, let me illustrate the kind of establishments they want children to be able to attend :

   >La Fistinière was a guesthouse and sex club for gay men “completely dedicated to the practice of Fist-Fucking and hard sexuality,” located in Assigny, Cher, France.

   I guess they want to address some kind of abuse in the tourist industry but being nuanced about it might not be too much of an ask.

4. Good. Child-free people are some of the most insufferable people on this planet, twice as much if they’re redditors. If people don’t have the most basic long term investment in society, children, then no establishment should even think about catering to them.
