  1. This is the cycle for more than a year now:

    1. Aid is cut off

    2. Buildings are destroyed and civilians are killed

    3. Aid is let back in

    4. Buildings are still destroyed and civilians are still killed

    5. Aid is cut off

    6. Rinse and repeat

When will we see a concerted effort to actually rebuild Gaza from the ashes so we can stop this weaponisation of aid?

  2. So the GHF, a joint effort by the US and Israel to supply aid directly to Gazan civilians, bypassing Hamas’s stealing of the aid from corrupt organizations as the UN, is operating in full force now.

The aid is running now in 4 different places, supplying enough food to over a million civilians, with plans to expand operations soon. Only today alone already, they are reporting that over a million meals were distributed.

#**Why is this such huge news?**

Up until now, Israel focused on eliminating terrorists and their assets. But through collaborators such as UNRWA, Hamas has been able to steal most of the aid coming into Gaza. Take as much of it as they want down to their tunnels. And resell the rest of the free aid to Gazan civilians, while using that money to pay for existing militants, and recruit new ones.

If this plan will continue to work, this can effectively dramatically shake up Hamas’s control over the population. Something that is already visible in the last days by both Hamas and their supporters like UNRWA panicked response to the aid effort (I thought UNRWA wanted to feed Gazans, what changed?), and by videos of Gazans thanking America ([Even Trump and Netanyahu funnily enough](https://www.ynetnews.com/article/b1kzf6ngeg)).

#**What does the aid effort look like?**

Basically a fenced area, with tables and aid on them. Gazans are free to approach without any major security checks, and just take a package and leave. The idea is to build trust and allow ease of access, even it means some families will be taking aid multiple times.

Account Imshin (Follow her) is documenting Gazans own uploads to tiktok, showing many videos of them presenting the different food items they got, and how it looks like:

#**Hamas and their allies seem to be panicking**

Hamas has made multiple attempts at stopping the program. Such as making a blockade which Gazans broke coming into one of the aid centers. Spreading disinformation about “People dying” at the aid centers yesterday, and more. But it seems that Gazans do not believe them and these attempts largely fail.

Gazans even broke into one of Hamas’s warehouses yesterday, taking huge [amounts of flour,](https://x.com/imshin/status/1927808579987198159) and showing how Hamas is hoarding large amounts of food which is meant for Gazan civilians. Hamas terrorists shot at some Gazans, [maybe killing 5](https://www.ynetnews.com/article/85xkxpu1o), but it didn’t stop Gazan civilians.

The UN is also still talking against the aid plan. With UNRWA’s chief claiming it is a “Distraction from the atrocities”. Which I find very amusing.

I think that the world can now clearly see who are the ones who care about Gazans, which would be happy about this plan and it’s relative success so far. And who is just supporting Hamas, and resisting to giving Gazan civilians food, at the cost of weakening Hamas.

  3. How much support does Hamas have left with the people of Gaza? If the big sticking point is getting people to reject Hamas, I fear this process will drag on for years
