Once again the government ignores the fact that nearly 31% of children in the UK are living in poverty. Disgusting.
I thought it was satire for a second. They’ve basically just said “we’re not going to help poor children because we don’t want to”
Changing them to make yourself look better is not the same as abolishing them.
This is almost onion worthy. “We abolished child poverty by pretending it doesn’t exist”
So our government is doing the same thing as the CCP, where they had a five year plan to abolish poverty in China which they successfully implemented by changing the definition of poverty (don’t you know their five year plans always succeed?).
Nice to know we’re in the same boat, except we’re allegedly a free democracy.
There’s no point in having child poverty targets. *Their* children are doing fine, and that’s **all** that matters to these ghouls.
