Producer prices in Austria fell by 0.2% year-on-year in April 2025, reversing a 0.7% rise in the previous month.
This marked the first producer deflation since January, as prices decreased in the energy sector (-1.5%) and intermediate goods (-0.7%).
Conversely, prices increased for consumer goods (2.4%) and capital goods (1.1%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices fell by 0.9% in April, slipping further from a 0.1% drop in the preceding month.
