Vietnam Airlines is to launch a new direct route between Copenhagen Airport and Ho Chi Minh City from December according to a Copenhagen Airport press statement.

The route will be the first-ever direct air connection between the two countries, Copenhagen Airport said.

“It’s fantastic news that we can welcome Vietnam Airlines to Copenhagen Airport and offer a direct route to Vietnam,” Copenhagen Airport CCO Peter Krogsgaard said in the statement.

“This will provide even better connections for travellers flying out of Copenhagen and more options for tourists and business travellers heading to Denmark,” he said.

The new route will consist of three weekly flights between Copenhagen and Ho Chi Minh City, aviation outlet Check-In.dk reports.
