SS: the times of Israel has published the full text of the most recent ceasefire proposal for the Gaza War that has been accepted by Israel and delivered to Hamas via the United States mediation effort.
The agreement is almost entirely the same as the initial Witkoff Framework that was proposed during the closing stages of the previous ceasefire, rejected by Hamas.
Duration: 60-day ceasefire
Release of Hostages: 10 Israeli live hostages and 18 deceased hostages
Release of Palestinian Prisoners: Israel will release 125 “life sentence” prisoners and 1,111 Gazan detainees who were detained after 7 October 2023
Remaining Hostages Released upon Agreement: The negotiation on the necessary arrangements for a permanent ceasefire should be completed within 60 days
I still don’t understand why the US hasn’t sent infantry to Gaza…
