1. Looks like there are confusing reports about whether Hamas will accept the deal:

   JPost article claiming Hamas is demanding changes to the deal:

   Al-Aribiya reporting the U.S. signed off on the deal:

   Supposedly Al-Aribiya reported Hamas accepted but that may have been premature. I’m unable to locate that reporting.

2. I read something on r/Critical theory earlier describing Israel as the bridgehead of the Western Imperialist bloc, and as an aircraft carrier for western corporations and their governments in the Middle East. The article talked about how criticism of Israel induces cognitive dissonance essentially, but that with so much evidence of atrocity available it forces our hands collectively, and how recognition of Palestine is spreading among EU countries rapidly, and about how denying that any further could potentially destabilize the legitimacy of the entire ruling bourgeois class; gripping stuff on kritikpunkt I think?
