Australia’s emissions rose in 2024 with transport and electricity usage climbing

1. In summary most areas were down, including cars, but jet fuel/aviation was up, like in many places in the world, and a drought has reduced hydroelectric energy. China and Brazil had the same issue – its looking like hydroelectric is not a reliable energy source these days.

   Emissions were up 0.05% YoY.
