The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine detained one of the Russian soldiers involved in the execution of Ukrainian territorial defense fighters. As reported by the SSO, back in January, Special Operations Forces operators recorded the moment when three Russians shot two captured Ukrainian defenders.

After this, the SSO fighters planned a retaliatory operation: two occupiers were eliminated and three were captured. During interrogation, the prisoners said that one of them, with the call sign "Yaryy", personally participated in the execution.

The investigation established his involvement, despite attempts to cover up the crime. The SBU collected evidence, and “Yaryi”, a marine of the 40th Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, was officially charged with committing a war crime.

Now he faces trial. If found guilty, he could face life imprisonment.

  1. I can only imagine what his life behind bars in Ukraine would be like, but then again, he committed the cold-blooded murders, he must pay for his crimes.

  2. It’s very important that as many ruZZians as possible understand that they will answer for any war crimes they commit.

  3. I bet he won’t actually live that long in a Ukranian prison.

  4. Well, well, well. Isn’t this a delightful turn of events? Oh yeah it is.

  5. Ukraine will hand war criminals over to The Hague, they need to be tried and convicted on the world stage

  6. Ukrainians should seek maximum justice by firing squad.

  7. No prison. Let him work for these families until the end of his life. Just give him enough food to keep him alive and make him a donor to the families of the fathers he shot.

  8. I’m sure there’s enough russian landmines lying around in liberated areas that he can help locate one I’d say.
