  1. Fuckin prick, throw the book at him. Plenty of time to pretend to be a Christian conservative in prison.

  2. Does anyone else think he’s been pretending to have found god in an attempt to dodge these charges?

  3. He’ll find a way of spinning this to his followers, something like “I realised I couldn’t win against the corrupt state so had to plea”.

  4. “Comedian” doing some heavy lifting there. I haven’t found him remotely funny for a very long time.

  5. “The 49-year-old appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court earlier this month where he heard details of allegations against him – including that he raped a woman in a hotel room when she attended a [Labour Party](https://www.independent.co.uk/topic/labour-party) conference.

He is also accused of grabbing a TV worker’s breasts before dragging her into a toilet and orally raping her.

A radio station worker alleges Brand grabbed her by the face, pushed her against a wall and kissed her before groping her breasts and buttocks.

Another alleged victim accuses the comedian of indecent assault after he allegedly grabbed her forearm and attempted to drag her into a male toilet.

He was charged by post last month with one count each of rape, indecent assault and oral rape, as well as two counts of sexual assault, relating to four separate women.

The allegations against Brand are said to have taken place against four women between 1999 and 2005.”

It’s worth noting that none of these accusations are the same as the ones from the Dispatchs Documentary/Times article.

It’s also not the same as the ones where he flashed a woman during his radio show and bragged about it on air, the woman he assaulted during the filming of Arthur in 2011, or the Masseuse he sexually assaulted in 2014.

Which should give you an idea of how many times he’s done this.

  6. Went from a lefty vegan to eating steak at Mar-A-Lago as soon as the cancelling came. Total prick.

  7. I can’t believe I used to like this guy and even paid to see one of his shows before he became a right wing insufferable prick.

Yes I know some will say he’s always been an insufferable prick but at least he seemed to be leaning in the right political direction.

  8. The word “comedian” is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that headline.

  9. Started watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall, had genuinely forgotten he was in it. Kinda ruins the movie.

  10. Whatever happens, I just hope he fades into complete irrelevance as a result of these charges. Sadly, I suspect he will become best mates with Farage very soon.

  11. Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.

  12. I can’t say this with many celebrities, but I can honestly say I never liked this guy from the start, even when apparently every undergraduate student across the country was lapping up his whole artsy intellectual schtick in ~2010.

  13. But something something Jesus? Nobody who’s a Christian would ever SA someone. He’s innocent!

    /s (obvs)

  14. The guy was a serial shagger back in the day. Every woman wanted abit of RB it was a meme. Hopefully he gets a fair trial as the MSM hates him.

  15. So notorious sex-pest Brand, after a career that started to fail and gets outted for his rape-y ways, miraculously and suddenly converts to Xtianity after years of atheist “humour”. What a shock.

Be a wrong’un/career on decline, get caught, pivot to the rightwing/Xtians who’ll believe any old shit including redemption/forgiveness stories in particular without ever critically looking at the timing of all such things, and then grift like fuck for the cash and the “protection” that an influential Xtian fundamentalist crowd will bring to bare.

Brand/Peterson/Rogan …. who else has pulled this shit recently?

  16. His anti-vax cult will still claim this is a conspiracy because “he spoke the truth.”
