In a petition filed with FERC, Williams asked to expedite and reissue the certificate of public convenience and necessity for NESE, a 400 MMcf/d system, a spokesperson told NGI. Williams requested the certificate be reinstated by Aug. 29, with in-service set by November 2027.

“In addition, we have begun working through state permitting matters with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and will be promptly filing applications with those agencies to secure the necessary permits for advancing both the NESE and Constitution Pipeline projects,” the spokesperson said.
