The Geena Davis Institute, in partnership with the Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment and the Iw Group unveiled a new study for 2025 shows positive progress towards Api representation in Hollywood.

The findings for the Rewriting the Script: A New Era for Api Voices in Hollywood report — a follow-up to their groundbreaking 2021 study, I Am Not a Fetish or Model Minority: Redefining What it Means to Be Api in the Entertainment Industry — were unveiled during an event hosted by Gdi and Cape.

Among the findings, almost two thirds (62%) of Api industry professionals feel their voice is valued, a significant increase from 2021 when only 44% surveyed felt this way.
