> There are now more than 800 people on the SEA-EYE 4, which has since set course for Lampedusa. The Italian island is only a few hours away from the scene of the accident and is thus the quickest port of safety to reach.
> For the 24-member crew of the SEA-EYE 4, an unprecedented, highly stressful situation now arises. The rescue ship is dependent on the rapid assignment of a port of safety.
> Sea-Eye has already asked the rescue coordination center in Rome for the assignment of a safe port and the German Foreign Office for urgent assistance, as Malta still refuses any communication.
How about “you” stop fishing for migrants close to international waters and just bring them back where they came from instead of complaining to the eu.
They should be banned immediately.
With the ever increasing birth rates in Africa, certain countries within EU should stop pretending to be the saviours of the world. The actual issue needs to be addressed. Allowing migrants in at any cost is not a solution. All the necessary aid should be provided to the rescued, but then they have to be deported.
Ironic, because specifically going out to look for migrants to bring to Europe sounds pretty criminal. These idiots should be arrested for people-smuggling and aiding and encouraging illegal migration.
People smuggles took more aboard that they should and now are trying to force a deal with very sceptical clients.
Corrected title
