  1. Do you want to be part of a centuries old borderline failed petro-state run by a frail autocrat or an independent nation part of alliances and treaties that will actually provide you and your families a future. That’s the choice.

  2. If you follow the sources in the website, you can see it’s fake news. Site and poster should probably be banned.

The real story is that a single recruiter had some type of poison sprayed in his face by a single attacker during a military papers inspection. The attacker was detained. There was no crowd.

  3. Let’s be clear. Fighting for your country may be the “right thing to do” but putting your life on the line and possibly leaving your family to fend for themselves for ever is no easy task.

I understand that Ukraine needs soldiers, things will be awful under Russian occupation, but it’s natural to be scared and not wanting to die.

I don’t envy those who are conscripted.

  4. Why can’t they conscript women? What happened to equality? The EU should sanction them until they reach equality.

  5. They don’t want to fight against aggressive Russia?
They don’t want to defend own country?

They’ll have no country and eventually they’ll be forced to fight under Russian flag.

  6. I feel like conscription in general is just a bad idea in today’s day and age.

In ww2 it made sense the control of information was much more easier to do you didn’t really know what was going on in the front lines but now soldiers are a lot more informed and understand when they’ll actually have a chance or just be part of the meat grinder.

  7. Well yeah, resistance to the brutal state-sanctioned practice of kidnapping men off the streets in broad daylight to then use as meat for the frontlines is to be expected. It isn’t surprising at all that people don’t want to fight and die in a dead end war.

  8. We will only see more of this soon. Information spreads like wildfire. Perhaps some internal pressure will soon lead to policy change for Ukraine as well
