  12. Doesn’t look good for Brand but there no way he will be found guilty, it’s too long ago and not enough people have come forward. May not be right but that’s just the way it is. He will get off like Spacey did but career won’t be the same at least.

  13. Honestly, what makes me not trust Russell Brand isn’t just the allegations, it’s the way he completely reinvented himself right before the allegations became public. I’m not saying someone is guilty just because they change their public image, and I absolutely believe in the presumption of innocence, because people do lie. But the timing behind Brand’s shift feels really calculated.

    He went from being this spiritual leftie to this right wing guy overnight. He clearly saw the allegations coming and decided to frame himself as a political target. “They’re trying to silence me because I’m speaking the truth.” Thats a convenient shield if you’re facing serious accusations. Then he’s out here doing interviews with Mikhaila Peterson, talking about eating tons of meat after being vegan/vegetarian since he was a teenager? Come on, could you be any more disingenuous?!! So yeah I find it hard to trust the guy because it seems like he changed his core beliefs etc to appeal to a demographic that is more likely to dismiss sexual assault allegations as a political smear jobs.
