Arab and Middle Eastern countries all have one thing in common. No matter how ineffective or uncoordinated the military may seem they always have a stupid number of no scope snipers that don’t miss.
This was the story of Afghanistan. US soldiers dumping rounds down range. Just for one shot to ring out and one of them to take a lethal hit. And it was often just some dude on a rock with an old rifle and no scope.

If you go frame by frame, the bullet looks to hit only the helmet and shrapnel cuts him.
Seeing a guy with sandals and a scarf going crazy with a iron sight mosin will always amaze me….. dudes could care less what they got to shoot with.

Why has it been cropped so that it only carries on 0.2 seconds after the shot? The only rational explanation I can think of is that it was a flesh wound to his right cheek or ear or something. But the footage is more interesting if we think it’s a lights-out hit. Could be wrong.
