Why royal family snubbed Prince Andrews grandsons birthday?

Princess Eugenie on Friday took to Instagram to mark the second birthday of her son Ernest.

The daughter of Prince Andrew shared pictures of her children and husband in her Instagram post as she celebrated his second son’s big day.

“Happy Birthday my darling Ernie. 2 today! And what an incredible two years it’s been. Always smiling, always laughing, always giving hugs and hello’s and making everyone happy. My golden boy, we love you!,” she captioned her post.

Notably, no member of the royal family publicly wished Eugenie’s son.

According to the British media, the royal family doesn’t publicly wish happy birthday to non-working members or their children.

This tradition changed after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior royals in 2020.

Since then, birthdays of non-working royals like Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and Zara Tindall, as well as their children, aren’t usually acknowledged with public messages.
