This is how I cope with society and the 9-5. Take myself away to the countryside and walk in heaven for a couple hours.

Looks lovely. Where is this?
Gorgeous, I love going abroad, but there’s something beautiful about landing back in Blighty and seeing those gentle green slopes. It’s Tolkien’s England.

That’s a highly impressive hedge.
“It really is amazing how the English countryside looks no way like Southern California”
I try to go on a daily lunchtime walk through the fields near me which also look like this. Very effective to restore your mind.
Gorgeous

At its best I’m May. Green and fresh and not too hot 👍
In May 2020 when the weather was great I used to spend a few hours trekking through fields like this.

Scenes like this do something to my heart. Home.
Long Hanborough??
Beautiful!
I was recently in Egypt and I bloody loved it. But I found myself literally dreaming of walking on soft and dewy grass, the beauty of verdant fields. There is a reason England is called a green and pleasant land.
Lovely view but you managed to include the bane of my existence, bloody brambles, or nature’s trip wires as I call them
