  5. She got screwed over when her masters were sold to someone she didn’t like instead of directly to her. She re recorded and re released them and made the originals worth less and now owns them for less than she likely would have paid originally while also making over $1 billion since that happened.

  8. I know this is probably an unpopular opinion, but to this day I still don’t get what the fuss was about. She signed a contract. Why was she so pressed about someone else buying the music she signed over with that contract? If she or someone on her team just read that contract before she signed it, she probably could’ve avoided all this mess.

  11. This was always her plan, if there’s one thing this woman loves doing, is scamming her dumbass sycophant fan base. Give it to the end of the year before you start seeing bundles of her original versions, and re recorded versions being packaged together and sold in bundles.

  16. Crazy she finished Debut TV and got stuck in Rep. I always thought Debut would be harder because her sound changed so much. Makes sense Shamrock would eventually sell anyway there was no winning that war after she did the re-recordings.

  23. Is the “shocking” thing about this the sticker price? She’s long talked about how she hated having someone control her earlier albums, even going to the point of re-recording a number of them, and her concert tours are basically temporary macroeconomies of their own right. It’s not like she couldn’t afford it and/or didn’t want to do it.
