1. Submission statement: president trump accused the PRC of violating its trade agreement with the US. Saying that he did a “fast deal” with them to prevent projected economic damage. But that China is now violating that agreement and it is under review. With Sec Treasury saying that China is stalling talks

2. IMO: this was expected.

   In 2020 China and Trump negotiated a slightly more comprehensive trade deal only for China to completely ignore it

   They bet that trumps attention is going to be on something else and once he isn’t paying attention they can go back to business as usual. However that seems not to be the case this time. They probably could only do it last time because of covid and everyone’s distraction. But now this is trumps focus.

   Remember China is not trustworthy and does not negotiate in good faith. Not saying that America does either. But Remember China’s spy balloons while they were actively negotiating reductions in tensions. They are duplicitious backstabbers. There’s a reason even Russia doesn’t trust them.

3. Be nice if there were actual facts listed.

4. In other words, he wants to gyrate the market to benefit his friends.
