Matthew Brennan doesn’t seem to be able to stop winning. At Tour of Norway, he’s been denied victory in the opening stage by last surviving escapee from an breakaway – Storm Ingebrigtsen. But on day two, there was no stopping the 19-year-old Brit anymore and in Oltedal, he finally got to raise his hands also in Scandinavia.
“This one was really special,” a proud Brennan says afterwards in a press release. “A lot of riders tried to attack near the end, but the team did everything they could to put me in a good position for the finish. To be able to finish it off like that is just incredible.”
