  1. We definitely are not, and that includes pretty much all of Europe, not just Germany.

    The question is what are we going to do about it?

    Yes, we need to massively invest in our militaries and general security and prepare for a “hot war”, but we also need to find appropriate answers to hybrid attacks, sabotage and political interference.

    The status quo of permanent Russian provocation without consequences is not sustainable. We need a clear action plan on the NATO level about appropriate reactions, including paying Russia back in kind.

  12. Well done for acknowledging the state of affairs of the last 15 years. It may sound ridiculous but it is seriously nice to hear someone in Germany say this rather than the usual “we are not at war with Russia.. huh, what war? When was it declared?” etc.

    Or Skripal’s poisoning with a nerve agent right inside the EU?

    Or was it one of the other gazillion times russkies attacked EU in digital spectrum?
