The federal ban on Motorsport circuit racing will be officially lifted on 1st June, 2026 (art. 52 of the LCR/Road Traffic Act). The cantons will get the power back to allow circuit racing or not.

   It will be even more exciting to see how many objections this will generate and which canton has space for the racing circuits.

7. dont think you guys will pay to host a formula 1 race, but i would love to see f1 race in switzerland

8. This probably won‘t have much effect anyways.
   Where would you even have the space required to build a huge track? And even if you found a location it would take forever to fight all objections

   It will probably still be easier to just build a track in Germany or France, close to the Swiss border
