I’m pretty sure the poster (in the image) is talking shite and trying to get a rise out of the other person. ‘Preposterous accent?’ Well, there’s an ‘Irish accent’, yes, and there are also two-dozen odd specific accents in the country: a dodgy Dub accent, say, is very different from a Cork or Cavan or Donegal accent.
And the ”apparently whores” bit – that phrasing is very strange. The use of ”apparently” implies that the speaker doesn’t actually know for sure, or else, doesn’t want to commit themselves to the claim (e.g. ”apparently, the factory is closing down next month (*but I don’t know for sure*))*.*
