The longer you look, the funnier it gets. See playground-related injuries, older than 65
More people are getting hurt fishing than playing hockey. What a world lol.
*chuckles* I’m in danger
(Cycling, 25 to 64 ; albeit not in US)
In this graph: Popularity of sports by age, slightly skewed by risk of injury.
Every day I take my moped to the beach to have a picnic and wonder why Apple watch doesn’t give me the day’s Rings.
I have to wonder if the surfing/water skiing is low in part because if you get seriously hurt in those situations you drown, where a similar injury on land would only be an injury.
I’m thinking broken leg/arm sort of thing.
Fishing > hockey and boxing.
It makes sense when you think about it. More people do it, and I assume it’s mostly injuries from boat fishing, where the boat itself is the danger.
The 25-65, should be broken out to 2-3 different groups.
Also, GenX still trying to skate. Just stop… It’s over.
