He didn’t need to be a swear I guess but it’s because he’s got blues on, and the rear of the vehicle states “do not pass”
Why does the sex of the bus driver matter?
Why does the bus driver’s gender matter? Would it be ok otherwise?
I’m so confused. Why did he swear? What did he even say? What was the reason?
Her hazard perception on minus.
I hope the bus driver is reported to TfL. Lack of situational awareness not to notice the obvious manoeuvre being undertaken by the police and then get aggressive when her bad driving is challenged.
Driving a bus in London on a hot day is not something I would ever want to do.
Police officer could have done his job with exactly the same effect without swearing. It’s a blatant lack of professionalism and wouldn’t be tolerated in other occupations.
Please stop filming people already stressed on the job. It has nothing to do with you. She shooed you away from filming, and you still posted it online.
So, don’t pretend you respect this woman.
Too many police officers in this country are becoming like American ones. Even if someone is in the wrong, swearing and being aggressive isn’t okay. He could’ve politely corrected her but instead chose to be rude and not elaborate.
Typical London bus driver, no awareness and no clue, angry as usual.
IIRC: This is called a “traffic calming manoeuvre” which is a well known tactic in areas like Marble Arch/Park Lane where congestion builds up and where I believe this was filmed.
A police car usually swerves across lanes, slowing traffic across ALL lanes, in order to “calm” the area.
The female bus driver was trying to go ***ahead*** of the police car in the Bus Lane (buses have that right), who was doing his duty in calming traffic, and she clearly isn’t aware of this procedure…although **should** have if given the proper training by TFL, right?!
That’s my bit of couch investigation done!
This just in, police officer swears
Why mention that she’s female? Why is that relevant to this incident?
You can just say “bus driver”
Nothing wrong with that, move on
Engineered outrage.
Think of the children!
Why is the police officer swerving across the road?
“Read the fucking sign”
“Don’t swear at me bro. Don’t fucking swear at me”
Love this city.

Gender of driver doesn’t matter.
Police are allowed to swear.
Especially when giving orders or instructions, short sharp bursts in plain English they can understand.
Bonus points if you can come across as firm.
Bus driver not following instructions by officer performing traffic calming, bus doesn’t magically become void of this order, still has to comply as does other traffic.
Even if you want to be critical, perhaps the officers previous call was something stressful and harrowing shortly before this.
Not many jobs have the same stresses, responsibilities, dangers etc as police.
Rolling road block, sign that says ‘do not pass’ and it looks like the bus is going to pass them. Hence they block her. Yeah maybe shouldn’t have sworn but they’re not doing it for the fun of it
You can’t pass there mate
A beautiful interaction imo, lovely stuff
Why she trying to act up, lack of impulse control, egotistical, savage.
She’s got no class anyway, listen to the state of her.
Why is “female” being pointed out?
There is another video of the same incident filmed from the hotel a few floors up.
It does look like she’s about to pass them. Wouldn’t be the first time, people completely ignore the rear matrix or Police car swerving about all over the road
Did she say “ AM FROM STATEN ISLAND “ ?
So many bootlickers. This is a such a shit sub that doesn’t represent London or the majority of its population at all.
She’s ment to be a “professional” driver and yet can’t understand a simple instruction.
Given the police car is moving across the road, blues and reds on, and has some sort of message (I believe it’s “Do Not Pass”) on its rear facing matrix display… I assume they’re doing a rolling roadblock, meaning no traffic should be passing.
Sure, maybe the officer shouldn’t have said “Read the fucking sign” instead of “Read the sign”, but then again – “Do not pass” means one thing.

Took me a minute to see what the officer meant.

BMW drivers are the same everywhere!
I don’t see anyone here doing great tbh.
Anyone know what the roadblock was for?
