Ah yes, the stuck in a small space with a bunch of strangers soap drama.
Guessing they can’t open the door because the door operator is powered up. I do wonder what the procedure is in a station though, on a normal site they’ll just rip the doors apart maybe it’s different
Despite it being a warm day, I think they are quite fortunate that they are some of the larger lifts I’ve been in.
You know more people get stuck in lifts every day than get passports in America
Never get in a lift with people that you’re not happy to spend the next three hours with
This is why I always take stairs.
Not sure “😬” is the appropriate response to this…
That escalated quickly
Lol the woman through the window 😂
I know what will help the situation!
Sharing pictures on the internet without asking anyone if they are bothered.
Its ok the fire brigade have had 30 seconds of training 10 years ago on how to release you from that lift. Never trust them to get you out safely, wait for the pros to turn up.
Suppose it’s not too bad at a station, getting stuck in a grubby piss smelling council estate lift is hell on earth though.
Fascinating post; this is what I’m here for
They’ll be finnnnnnne. Lifts are safe as, well….lifts, now days.
Don’t fart
As an Ex-Lift_industry engineer: Thats a shame, i had such a great time having a work experience student wire those control panels up 5 years ago… At least they’re past their garantee point 😉

Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
