Russian Drone Attack Hits Zaporizhzhia on June 1

On the night of June 1, Zaporizhzhia was attacked by the Russian army, with at least seven drone strikes carried out. As a result of this shelling, one woman was injured, and private homes and critical infrastructure facilities were damaged.

The Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration (ZOVA) showed the aftermath of the attack, including damage in the private sector and to civilian vehicles.

The head of the Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported that Russian forces used at least seven “Shahed” type drones to attack the city. As a result of the shelling, a woman was injured, and private homes were destroyed or damaged.

Additionally, Russian troops attacked a critical infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia, causing partial destruction of an administrative building and a fire.

Explosions were heard again in the Zaporizhzhia region, and the air raid alert was not lifted. It was announced at 21:10 due to the threat of strikes by attack drones.

Ivan Fedorov urged residents to stay alert and follow safety rules during the air raid alert to avoid danger.
