At this point the government may aswell just take everyone’s pay cheques
Onshore wind would reduce bills. They also need to get serious about insulation.
Have we tried solar yet? Or how about a nationalised power company?

I mean I’m all for nuclear power, as it is presently our best bet to wain off fossil fuels.
But this is probably the worst time to announce energy bills going further up.
Fighting climate change is expensive but worth it. If you want cheap energy burn coal.
Raising bills by £80 a year….
We just had a £600 a year increase!!!
Build a nuclear power plant near me… Have it properly funded and British built. No NIMBY here. All i ask in return is my kids then get first dibs on decent STEM degrees/bursaries and opportunity to work in a relevant industry nearby.
My bad UK friends but he is a mess.
You just can’t win moan about global warming moan about gas petrol prices , my suggestion is to buy a fucking sledge huskies are a great way to transport you around , back in the 70 were told to put a jumper on have one bath a week sorted !!!!! otherwise stop moaning
Considering the gas prices shock just raised mine £800/year in April with more to come in October…sounds like a bargain
Time to put more clothes on. Turn off your gadgets and go outside to play.
Each? And per month not per year? Yes, that would be about right.
Oh they’re boris ones? So they’ll never get built? But only cost me 80 quid a year? That’s actually a better deal.
People: wind farms and insulation will make energy bills cheaper.
Government: Eye sore. Can’t afford it. What about nuclear plants?
