  27. She evoked the teaching of Jesus but I can’t remember any teaching of Christ that advocated taking from the poor to give to the rich. The people who wear their religion on their sleeves have in common their refusal to live the philosophy espoused by Christ in principle. Rather his name is trotted out as if to argue their greed, prejudices and bad acts do not make them a bad person. And this treats their so called religion as if it was a Monopoly get out of jail free card. This hypocrisy never seems to be called out by religion’s leaders. And why not? It seems to be the very hypocrisy called out by Christ. The religious leaders choice to live the opposite of the life espoused by Christ makes religion an abomination.

    All just a bunch of rich idiots living lives vastly better than the people they’re supposed to represent telling us all how WE should live.
