From royal outings like Trooping the Colour and Royal Ascot to joint charity work, the trio has remained a united front both on and off the public stage.
During a recent appearance on Lessons From Our Mothers, a podcast hosted by Cressida Bonas, Princess Eugenie reflected on the most meaningful advice she and Beatrice have received from their mum.
“For me, it’s the fire inside the strength inside of you,” Eugenie shared. “And how to bring that out, and to pull it in when you most need it.”
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie continued to reflect on their mother’s lasting influence, revealing how Sarah Ferguson helped shape their approach to sibling disagreements including one memorable spat over a pair of Converse trainers.
The sisters, who remain close as adults, said their mother always encouraged cooperation over conflict, teaching them the value of working together and resolving issues with empathy and understanding.
Reminiscing about one of their childhood clashes, Beatrice recalled “It was over a pair of Converse. And Mum just jumped into that fight and was like, Come on, you can do it!”
